KATIE - A Rottweiller mama who is so very careful with her 5 sweet babies. She is housebroken . You can see how cute these little fur babies are by the photo. You can watch their progress as they grow. Katie and her babies will be wonderful additions to many families, when the time comes.
She has three of the brown puppies and two of the black and tan puppies. Two brown girls, one brown boy and one girl black and tan and one boy black and tan.
Update! 7/12/02
Sadly shortly after these pictures were taken Katie became severely ill. She was diagnosed with mastitis and placed on antibiotics. A day later she became severely ill again and had to be rushed back to the vet. She is currently on fluids and supportive care we are hoping that she will make a full recovery. Both her and the puppies could use your support, her medical bill has all ready skyrocketed. You can contact the shelter if you would like to make a donation to help. Thank you.
Update! 7/24/02
Katie's mastitis has abscessed to the outside, leaving a softball side hole in her belly. As long as she doesn't get infected again she should be just fine. She will need "cosmetic" surgery when she is spayed to fix the abscessed part of her belly. This will cause no ill effects in the long run, but right now we have to be very careful that she does not become infected again or we could loose her.
Update! 8/9/02
Katie has made a full recover! She has been spayed and is now ready for adoption! Her puppies are also now ready to be reserved! She has two boys and three girls, wont you come out and see her and her babies?
