these kids were pulled from a hoarding case in rural iowa - they came to us thin and very sick with a number of upper respiratory illnesses. after weeks on the mend and close medical care, they’re ready to be reserved and find their forever homes! Note- These cats can be seen and reserved for adoption, but cannot go home until after their spay/neuter surgeries.
Cocoa (tabby-Female) and Marshmallow (white/tabby-Male) Born 08/2024 Cocoa and Marshmallow are two very special kittens. These two have a condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia. Click here to learn more about their developmental condition. Despite their lack of coordination, they’re full of fun and excitement. These two are looking to find their perfect home, with pet parents that understand their special needs. Watch this YouTube video to get an idea of the kind of excitement they bring! While not mandatory, it is our preference that they be adopted together.

murphy arrived to us after testing positive for feline leukemia through a spay/neuter program. he is a quiet gentleman that prefers attention on his terms. this beautiful, long haired cat is looking for the right fit. Scheudle a time to meet him today!

Petra is an independent young cat that could spend hours watching birds out the window. She is a vertical cat that enjoys climing to heights to find a cozy place to rest. She will need to be the only pet in the household.

merlot is a sweet, young momma. She’s had three beautiful babies that she was an amazing mother too. Her babies have found their forever homes and now she is on the prowl for a fun forever home for herself. merlot has been around other adult cats, and has shown to be pretty indifferent to them. she has not been exposed to dogs.

this handsome gentleman was born at the shelter a few years ago. he has mastered the art of door dashing, so any potential adopters must be aware of his affinity for the outdoors. Templeton is a fun, active guy that is looking for his right companion.

Front declawed. Felix is a shy old man that knows what he wants. He is interested in naps and wand toys. He is looking for a quiet, single pet retirement home. We know he does not like other cats. like many senior cats he is on a specialized diet to support his urinary tract.

Argo is a friendly, senior WHO is an INSULIN-DEPENDENT diabetic cat. He lived with a nice couple (until they passed away) & other cats.

Born 05/2016 - FELV+
Golden Paw (male) is the more outgoing one. he is deaf, and presents as a cat that has Cerebellar Hypoplasia. His balance is slightly affected so it gives him a unique way of navigating life.
Aesir (female) is a little more reserved but loves to be held; she bakes the tiniest biscuits when comfortable. After extensive dental work, Aesir's tongue hangs out, a super cute side EFFECT!
Aesir and Golden Paw both tested positive for Feline Leukemia (FeLV+), meaning they need to be the only cats in the home or with other felv+ cats.
Aesir and Golden Paw are a bonded pair of cats who must be adopted together

Angelica is a sweet, friendly older gal. She has been diagnosed with IBD (irritable bowel disease), for which she is on a special diet and receives vitamin b12 supplements. she has also had full mouth dental extractions. none of these health hurdles have stopped her incredibly loving personality from shining through. there is no place she’d rather be than in your lap, cuddling.

Smokey arrived to us very shy, and we've watched his personality blossom. When he isn't stalking the birdfeeder he enjoys being with people and is gaining more confidence day by day. He loves to play with other cats - he hasn't met a toy he doesn't like.
