Paws & Claws Benefit Auction 2023

When: Silent Auction begins on Wednesday, November 1 & will end on Saturday, November 4 at 7:00 p.m. (no ticket purchase is required to bid on silent auction items).

Where: Silent Auction: Virtual SIT (on your couch), STAY (home), and BID (while wearing your pajamas)!
In-person: silent, dessert, & live auctions with dinner & program: NEW VENUE: Des Moines Marriott Downtown: Des Moines Exhibit Hall, 3rd floor.

Tickets: $75/individual in-person | $600/table of 8 guests

The evening will be hosted by local celebrities, Stacey Horst, and Steve Berry and auctioneer, Scott Andreas. Our goal is to raise over $100,000 for our special needs, no-kill shelter. With your support, we can raise even more!

Event Details:

The silent auction will begin online on Wednesday, November 1 & end on Saturday, November 4 at 7:00 p.m. (during the in-person event). All bidding will take place via your mobile smartphone, make sure your battery is fully charged 😊

5:30 p.m. – Doors open and the silent auction begins
Cash bar available; silent auction ends promptly at 7 p.m.
7:15 p.m. – Dinner served
DINNER OPTIONS:
If you have not done so already, please let us know if you or your guests request a vegan meal by Friday, October 27. 
All specialty dinner requests must be made in advance.

All dinners will be served with an Arugula Salad: Roasted Beets, Fennel, Goat Cheese, Pepitas a choice of Balsamic Vinaigrette or Ranch dressing, and bread.
Regular dinner (gluten-free as served): Pork Loin Medallions: Shallot and leek Cream Sauce, Roasted Red Potatoes, and squash Medley (Zucchini, Yellow Squash & Carrots)
Vegan dinner: Penne Pasta: Marina, Spinach, Peppers, Onions, Sundried Tomatoes, and fresh Basil.

8:00 p.m. –DESSERT AUCTION in the Grand Ballroom!
Live auction immediately follows the Dessert Auction.
